As a Home Staging Expert (HSE), a designation Nancy
received from her study with Lori Matzke of Center Stage Home, Nancy has
mastered the techniques required to walk into an unfamiliar setting and quickly recognize the
steps necessary to take the home from "ho hum" to "wow!"

The Consultation...
The home staging consultation which takes about an hour provides a
comprehensive analysis of your home from the mailbox to the back yard.
With the homeowner or realtor by her side Nancy will look at
your home with a buyer's eye, identifying its strongest selling features, determining each
room's focal points, and helping you see and overcome trouble spots.
You will be given suggestions for repairs and other
changes that may be beneficial, such as fresh paint or carpet, clutter removal,
furniture rearrangement, lighting and more.
Armed with this information which is prioritized
in order of importance, you can move ahead with confidence knowing how to present
your home's best selling points.
Hands-On Staging...
If you prefer hands-on help Nancy will stage your home for you.
This includes editing and rearranging furniture to maximize focal points and improve
traffic flow, adding, subtracting or moving décor and artwork to create interest
or reduce distractions, creating ambience with lighting and other techniques, and giving
your home the broadest appeal to the widest audience.
She will look at each room and tell you what needs to be packed up
or moved out of sight, and make sure you pay attention to details such as neatness and
cleanliness, especially in the kitchen and bath. You’ll get tips on how to prepare
for last minute showings so your house is always ready when prospective buyers arrive.
Nancy will also include information she shares with her clients
who simply request the consultation by discussing repairs, upgrades, painting, flooring options,
depersonalization and creating spaciousness which will all improve your home’s earning potential.
This service is offered for a basic fee plus an hourly
charge, so each person may choose the extent of staging they feel most comfortable with.
The most important rooms in terms of staging are the entry, living areas, dining room,
kitchen and master suite. Regardless of the number of rooms you request hands-on assistance with,
you will be given information concerning the whole house.
When staging a client’s home Nancy uses the furnishings
and décor you already have, but can also supplement those items from her own stock.
If you choose this option you will be charged a reasonable fee for the delivery, pickup and rental
